Tempe Elementary Ranked No. 1 Elementary School District in Arizona

Tempe Elementary School District has been named the top elementary school district by Arizona’s largest and most comprehensive business opinion poll, Ranking AZ. Tempe Elementary was also voted into the Top 7 winners in the Best Places to Work category.

Ranking AZ is a top source for Arizona residents providing them with information regarding leading industries in their community. The print and online publication honors organizations that have exceeded the expectations of community members, and rankings are earned solely on the voted opinions of the general public. 

Tempe Elementary School District is located in the heart of the “Valley of the Sun.” It encompasses an area of approximately 36-square miles including not only Tempe, but also parts of Phoenix and the Town of Guadalupe. Arizona State University, one of the largest campuses in the nation, is within the District’s boundaries, providing numerous professional and educational opportunities.

The 23 schools consist of elementary, middle school, K-8, and specialty school options. Tempe Elementary’s student population consists of approximately 11,000 students encompassing diverse cultural, and socio-economic groups. Tempe Elementary staff are award-winning, and passionate about the students they proudly serve.
