• McKemy received an 'A' grade from the Arizona Board of Education!

• Home of Tempe's International Baccalaureate program.
  This global mindedness program aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.

• IB MYP is considered more rigorous, placing a stronger emphasis on critical thinking, interdisciplinary learning, and developing global perspectives. 

• Students are required to obtain "Service as Action" hours based on specific community projects that make a difference.

• A deeper focus on inquiry-based learning and connections between disciplines.

• Students connect their learning with how they develop as a person, by exploring who they are and their place in the community, through activities both inside and outside of the classroom.

• Vibrant arts program and extracurricular activities including art, world music, theater, improv, design and more. These opportunities help students explore new talents, deepen existing skills, and develop into well-rounded members of society.
